Video: A-list US rapper wears Celtic shirt during New York show

American rapper Macklemore performed wearing the Celtic home shirt during his New York show on Friday. The 40-year-old is of Irish heritage and while performing at The Rooftop Bar in NYC wearing the Adidas shirt from the 2023/24 season.

One Twitter/X user, @lisutheloser, took to the site to showcase the images of Macklemore enjoying the gig.

Macklemore, born Ben Haggerty, was raised in Seattle and is proud of his Irish heritage. The star is affiliated with Adidas and this may be the reason behind his wearing of the Celtic shirt. Macklemore has sold 50 million albums worldwide and it is quite bizarre to see him wearing the Hoops.
