The most striking thing about this group is the similarities. The goal conversion has a very small deviation from the median. Jennings and Myers account for 62% of Charleston’s goals; Francisco Bonfiglio for 60% of Miami FC’s.

Monterey Bay’s Nico Campuzano stats translate to a very high 72% save percentage, but he’s just pipped by Charleston’s Luis Zamudio who has 73%. The Battery are one of the league’s top sides; Monterey have been sliding steadily after an explosive start.

USL Eastern Conference

The East has been relatively stable, with a dominant block, mid-level block and group bringing up the rear. The three dominating teams (Louisville City, Charleston, Loudon) have traded positions over the past ten matches. NCFC and Detroit City are the strongest mid-level group. Rhode Island vascilates wildly, one of the more dynamic East sides moving in the table. The chart below shows the positions of the top seven teams over the past ten weeks.

In contrast, the West has seen significant ups and downs. Current top-dog New Mexico overcame a rough start (they were in the bottom half in Weeks 1-4). Sac Republic have also pulled themselves up from the basement. Monterey Bay have done the opposite move.
