One BBC pundit is saying this week that he now believes Chelsea have a ‘special’ player in their squad who is up there with one of the best in world football.

Former England striker turned BBC pundit Gary Lineker is the latest to be raving about Palmer this week.

In words cited on X, Lineker said:

“They (Chelsea) have already got someone special in Cole Palmer. Six goals, five assists already this season.

“He is right up there with the best players in the world at the moment. I mean, we get carried away with these things, but what a talent.”

And I don’t think many would argue with that statement right now as Palmer continues to take the world of football by storm. He will be on the international stage again this week with England too!
