The AC Milan Futuro project has not gone to plan so far, and Daniele Bonera is under pressure as a result. However, he has claimed there is a reason for the failings.

When Jovan Kirovski arrived, there was heavy talk about the possibility of Milan creating a team between the Primavera and the senior team. A way to test the youngsters that were far above the level of the youth ranks, but not yet ready for Serie A.

“Serie C is a particular category, Camporese and Magrassi have an important curriculum and they immediately fell into the new reality while Ianesi and Quirini already have a long experience in the C and this makes the difference, because they go to enrich a group that is growing slowly.

“I am sure that, beyond the difficulties, we will be able to take some great satisfaction and end the season in a good position.

“The market? We are happy that players are going to the first team, Bartesaghi joined today, but if they go up to Serie A then we are short in terms of numbers. We will evaluate until next week what to do.”
