Italy international Destiny Udogie admits Tottenham have lacked consistency this season, but Spurs ‘will try and build the right momentum’ against Roma tomorrow after a 4-0 win over Manchester City.
Udogie spoke at a press conference on Wednesday, on the eve of a Europa League game against Roma in London.
“We’re working every day. We’re coming from a big win last week and in the game tomorrow we will try and build the right momentum,” said the Italian defender, as quoted by BBC.
Tottenham secured a memorable 4-0 win away at Manchester City over the weekend, but the North Londoners sit 6th in the Premier League table with 19 points in 12 matches. They collected three victories and two defeats in the last five league matches.

“It’s been difficult because we haven’t really found the right consistency,” admitted Udogie.
However, “this season is the second season together so we understand each other, we know the gaffer better and the staff. This is the big difference. We have more confidence in our ability.”
As reported by Football London, Udogie briefly spoke about his compatriot Vicario as well.
The Italian keeper has undergone ankle surgery and will remain out of action for a few months.
“We’re going to miss him because in the group he’s a great leader. I spoke to him the day after the operation,” concluded Udogie.
The former Udinese left-back has one assist in 16 Tottenham appearances this term.
He made his Azzurri debut in 2023 and has nine appearances with La Nazionale.
