It’s now definitive that Lorenzo Lucca is heading to Napoli to reinforce the attack of the Serie A champions. It is a loan transfer worth €9m with a conditional obligation to buy for €26 million. Udinese are now looking for strikers on the wake of this transfer, to cover the Lucca – shaped hole in their attack.

As per TMW, one of the names in consideration is Giovanni Simeone.

It is expected that Giovanni, the son of former Serie A player and current Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone, will leave Napoli in the next few days. A deal with Pisa has been close for a while but the Argentine striker hasn’t yet given his approval. Udinese are trying to step in at the eleventh hour and get a deal done. Their good relations with Napoli could help the deal.

However, Simeone is not the only name on the list. The name of Josh Sargent ,currently at Norwich, has been mentioned throughout the window. The name of Willem Geubbels , born in 2001 and currently playing in Switzerland with St. Gallen, has also recently surfaced.
