La Liga giants Barcelona have been encouraged to launch assaults on the signatures of both Jonathan David and Rafael Leão by those closest to the players.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Thursday provided an insight into ongoings behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Attackers David and Leão have both of course been tipped as potential arrivals at Barcelona in the near future.
In the case of the former, he is considered a cut-price option to back up, and potentially replace Robert Lewandowski, ahead of the expiration of David’s contract terms with Lille next summer.
Wide-man Leão, meanwhile, is one of a number of options being taken into consideration by Deco and co, amid an ongoing search for reinforcemets out wide.
Safe to say, then, that all associated with Barca will no doubt be interested to hear of both making clear their willingness to do whatever it takes to secure a Camp Nou switch.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Milan’s Portuguese winger and Lille’s Canadian striker have sent messages to the Catalan club to sign them.’
It now remains to be seen just how interested the Blaugrana are in taking the pair up on their offers…
