Trevoh Chalobah has sent a message to Chelsea’s rivals that they are ready to go this season despite a busy summer.
Chelsea have started the season with a draw against Crystal Palace and a resounding win against West Ham on Friday night.
Chalobah has started both games, and is set for a key role this season following the news Levi Colwill will miss the majority of the season with an ACL injury.
Chalobah scored his first goal of the season against West Ham, and his change in fortune is remarkable given the Blues tried to force him out last summer.
However, he was recalled from Crystal Palace in January and hasn’t looked back, whilst he’s also established himself as a key member of the squad.

Chelsea have been busy in the window and have made four signings in Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro and Jorrel Hato.
The expectations will be high having returned to the Champions League and won two trophies last season, but Chalobah had a message for Chelsea’s rivals after the win against the Hammers.
“We have come off the back of a busy summer but the boys are ready, we don’t look fatigued, and we are ready to go,” he told Chelsea’s website.
“We know the levels we can get to, and we need to show that this year.”
Whilst the Blues have made a good start to the season, they are still hoping to add two more players before the window closes.
