The mercato is coming to a close but AC Milan are still looking to be active on multiple fronts it seems, and this includes deals for the Futuro team.
With Francesco Camarda heading towards a potential long-term loan deal, there is a need to replace him, even if he has not been the most present for the young Milan team.
Daniele Bonera has already complained about a lack of options, so it is clear that he needs more options to pick from. With the position that the Futuro are in too, there are reinforcements needed within the team, this much is certain.
So, as Transfermarkt (via Milan News) reports, the side are ‘closing in’ on a deal for Levis Asanji, the German striker who plays for Union Berlin. The youngster is ‘well spoken of’ in Germany, and he is viewed as an exciting talent for the future.
This season, he has scored 10 goals in 14 games for Union, showing that he knows where the back of the net is, and with him only being 18 there is plenty of scope for him to develop further in the future.
According to the report, he will arrive in Milan on Monday to go through medical procedures with a deal seemingly close to completion.
