Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are among the clubs making big moves in the transfer market. The summer window is open again and Arsenal continue their pursuit of a top-level striker, but could finally opt to move on from Benjamin Sesko. The Gunners have been linked with Rodrygo and are now said to be targeting shock moves for Paris Saint-Germain star Warren Zaire-Emery and Leicester midfielder Bilal El Khannouss.
Chelsea are in talks over Jamie Gittens, though Bayern Munich are also interested, while Joao Pedro, Mohammed Kudus and Malick Fofana are on the shortlist too. The Blues are weighing up whether to go back in for Mike Maignan and have interest in Ousmane Diomande and Murillo as they bid to boost their defence.
Liverpool are set to finally announce Florian Wirtz, have booked a medical for Milos Kerkez and are now plotting a move for Marc Guehi. Liverpool are leading the race to sign Marc Guehi.
The Crystal Palace defender is out of contract next summer and so the Eagles are expected to try and cash in now.
Arsenal are believed to have interest in Guehi, but the centre-back is not convinced he would get regular minutes for them according to The Mirror.
That has left Liverpool in a strong position, and they are expected to make their move once Jarell Quansah’s transfer to Bayer Leverkusen has been completed.

Former Manchester United boss has criticised the club’s transfer business in recent years, believing they have signed the wrong profile of player.
"If I were the owner or sporting director of a club, I would only try to sign and invest in young players,” he told Sport. “Because no matter how you look at it, it only makes sense.
"Does it make sense to spend £30, 40, 50 million on a 28 or 30-year-old signing? Not really.
"Let's calculate it. You sign a 28 or 30-year-old with a five-year contract. You spend £50m more on the transfer fee, an average of £15m per year multiplied by five.
"That's £65m plus the £50m transfer fee equals £115m, plus the agents' fees. The whole operation costs you around £130m."

Tottenham are focusing on three targets in their bid to provide Thomas Frank with more creativity.
The new Spurs boss is believed to be keen on bringing Bryan Mbeumo with him to north London, but Manchester United are also pushing to sign the Brentford star.
Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo remains of interest to Spurs too and The Mirror report that Eberechi Eze is also an attractive option for the club.
It’s claimed that the Crystal Palace man could be the most realistic option, considering the Mbeumo competition and the fact Bournemouth do not want to lose any more of their key players.

It’s claimed that Chelsea are also keen and in a strong position, but United’s interest is set to come to nothing with the Frenchman preferring other options.

Arsenal fans could have to be patient over the next couple of months.
The club are keen to strengthen up front and on the left wing, but nothing is believed to be imminent in terms of arrivals in attack.
The Mirror report that Arsenal do have real interest in Rodrygo, though Real Madrid will demand at least £70m.
However, it’s claimed that the Gunners feel Real’s stance could soften as the summer goes on, and so it could prove to be a waiting game.

The battle to sign Jadon Sancho is heating up, in what will be a relief to Manchester United.
Chelsea paid £5m to get out of their obligation to sign the winger on a permanent deal, and United are now trying to find a club to take Sancho off their hands.
Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reports that Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce have now made an enquiry.
However, Napoli and Juventus are also interested in Sancho and could prove to be more appealing options.

Ilkay Gundogan has dismissed the possibility of him leaving Manchester City this summer.
The midfielder is reportedly a target for Galatasaray, who are willing to offer him a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
However, speaking after scoring twice in Man City’s 6-0 win over Al Ain last night, Gundogan provided an update on his future.
“I have a one year contract,” he said.
“And I'm very happy here. I think everyone knows that. And I am committed to the competition.”
