AS Vita Club has decided not to extend Farid Ouédraogo's contract. The Burkinabé goalkeeper could find a new opportunity in another league.

The 28-year-old shot-stopper has just been approached by Chippa United officials, who could sign him on a free transfer. His contract with the Congolese club expires on August 12, 2025.

The Ouagadougou native began his career with SC Majestic in 2014 before moving on to several clubs in his homeland, including RC Kadiogo, Rahimo FC, and USFA. He's been playing in the DR Congo since 2022.

Farid Ouédraogo has made 10 appearances for the Stallions. After starting in the last matches of 2024, he lost his spot as first-choice keeper in 2025, notably during the last two friendlies against Tunisia and Zimbabwe.
