Tottenham have had a disappointing season so far in the English Premier League. They are 14th in the points table with 34 points in 29 matches. The club needs considerable changes in the squad in the summer transfer window and there is no doubt that Tottenham have already started their planning for the window.
Earlier, Caught Offside reported that Yves Bissouma might be leaving the club in the summer transfer window. In that case, Spurs might be looking to strengthen their midfield. Meanwhile, TBR Football has reported that Spurs are in the competition with Newcastle United to sign Inter Miami midfielder, Benjamin Cremaschi. MLS expert Matt Doyle claimed that Lionel Messi, possibly the greatest ever footballer in the world, loves the 20-year midfielder a lot. This clearly depicts that he is a big talent who is waiting to flourish.

Benjamin Cremaschi is a midfield maestro. He is quick, buzzing around the pitch with endless energy. The 20-year-old’s versatility is an advantage, as he can play deep, attack, or link play seamlessly. The 20-year-old American’s technique is slick; threading passes with precision. He has a high work rate, chasing down opponents relentlessly. Playing with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami? That’s sharpened his game—his IQ is off the charts now. The player is young but fearless, thriving under pressure. Messi loves him, and that says heaps.
Tottenham signing him could be a coup. They need midfield spark—someone to bridge defence and attack. Cremaschi fits Ange Postecoglou’s high-octane style perfectly. His grit and flair could pair brilliantly with Maddison’s creativity. Plus, he’s a long-term gem—still growing, yet already polished by Messi’s mentorship. Spurs lack a box-to-box star. Cremaschi could be it. Grab him, and watch the midfield ignite!
The 20-year-old will also not reject the opportunity to play for Tottenham in the Premier League. Playing in the best league in the world is obviously a welcome opportunity for a talent like him and no wonder he will grab it with both hands. The club can nurture him and Cremaschi can develop into a star for them.
