Rúben Amorim’s choice to leave Alejandro Garnacho out of the Manchester derby last month has sparked speculation about the winger’s future at Manchester United.

According to the Daily Mail, Garnacho is no longer considered “untouchable” at Old Trafford, with top European clubs such as Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Barcelona all keeping tabs on his situation.

While a move doesn’t seem imminent, United could be open to offers of around £70 million. However, clubs like Atletico Madrid and Juventus might find it challenging to meet that asking price.

Journalist Steve Kay has revealed that Tottenham has made a serious approach for Garnacho, and CaughtOffside has highlighted continued interest from Atletico Madrid, PSG, and Juventus.

If the right offer comes in, United could be willing to sell, though Atletico and Juventus may struggle to meet the asking price.

Give Me Sport reported on Sunday, citing sources, that Garnacho is becoming more likely to leave Old Trafford than stay. While Manchester United hasn’t been actively pushing him out, they are growing more accepting of the possibility as Garnacho is uncertain about his long-term role in Amorim’s plans.

United agree with his concerns and see the potential benefits of selling him, especially since they could make a significant profit after reportedly signing him for just £420,000 from Atletico Madrid.

Nonetheless, former Chelsea player William Gallas has stated that the Blues’ potential deal for Garnacho would be purely for “business.

“Chelsea already have so many wingers and attacking midfielders, the signing of Alejandro Garnacho would be for business reasons only, with the idea that they could make a profit,” Gallas said.

“Chelsea don’t need a player in his position so it would make no sense in terms of their squad depth, I could only see it happening for business reasons.”
