Tottenham in active talks for Real Madrid star | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is in negotiations over a potential move to Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur.

That’s according to Spanish journalist Ramón Álvarez, who points towards Rodrygo as the player in question.

Frontman Rodrygo has of course seen his name take its place front and centre in the transfer headlines across all of Europe this summer.

This comes with the Brazilian’s alleged availability at the right price having seen a whole host of top clubs express an understandable interest in his signature.

To date, from England, the likes of of Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have been named as potential landing spots for Rodrygo.

Over the last week, the aforementioned Tottenham, too, have been credited with an interest in the 24-year-old.

And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media on Monday is anything to go by, then Spurs now appear to have positioned themselves at the front of the queue.

As per a report from Ramón Álvarez:

‘Tottenham are in talks for Rodrygo and are waiting to see if Liverpool make a move. No decision has been made on the player’s part, and he could even stay at Real Madrid.’
