Kas de Wit has left NEC Nijmegen to sign with TOP Oss in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. The 21-year-old midfielder will receive a two-year contract, with an option for another year.
De Wit moves from NEC Nijmegen, where he has played in the youth academy since 2012. Since 2022, he has been under contract with the first team in Nijmegen. He mainly played his matches for the U21s.
Technical director Linton Posthumus is pleased with the arrival of De Wit: “Kas is the next to move up from the joint academy with NEC. He has trained with us before and also played in a practice match. We see him as a creative player with potential, who can develop further in our environment.”
Kas de Wit about his new challenge: “I’m looking forward to playing minutes in Oss. I’m a creative player who can create something out of nothing. This feels like a great opportunity for me to take the next step in my career.”
