West Bromwich Albion have signed Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old was on the radar of several Championship clubs, but Albion got the deal over the line, with Collyer aiming to feature in this weekend’s match against Wrexham.
Boss Ryan Mason has been eager to strengthen his midfield, and Collyer will join the competition alongside Alex Mowatt, Jayson Molumby, and Ousmane Diakite.
Collyer made 19 first-team appearances for United in the 2024/25 season.
Speaking to the club's team, Collyer said: “I spoke with the gaffer Ryan Mason and I got a really good first impression from him.
“Albion seems like the right place and the right environment for me and I’m hoping to play as much as possible.
“This is a great opportunity for me to help the team and take my game to the next level, which I’m really excited about.”
