The Blues provided the latest ticket update this morning via a post on their official club Twitter account.
After an initial surge in ticket sales at the start of this month, demand has dropped off a little in recent days but there still promises to be a very healthy crowd in South West London this weekend as Chelsea prepare to face the former European champions and arguably the favourites for this year’s UEFA Women’s Champions League crown.
Chelsea and Barcelona last met in the 2020/2021 UEFA Women’s Champions League final in Gothenburg, Sweden. The Spaniards blew the Barclays Women’s Super League side apart in the opening 45 minutes as they went on to record an emphatic 4-0 victory. That performance didn’t show Chelsea at their absolute best and they will therefore be out for revenge when the two sides renew their rivalry at the semi-final stage this weekend.
The UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final, first leg fixture between Chelsea and Barcelona at Stamford Bridge kicks-off at 12.30pm on Saturday afternoon. Tickets remain on general sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
