Thomas Müller makes his MLS debut | OneFootball

For the first time in his career, Thomas Müller played for a club that isn’t FC Bayern Munich. The 35-year-old entered the field for the last half an hour in Vancouver Whitecaps’ 1-1 draw with Houston Dynamo.

Moments after coming on, he scored with a powerful shot from outside the box, but the goal was disallowed because Brian White was involved from an offside position in the buildup. Vancouver are in third place in the Western Conference of the MLS season, which will be enough to qualify for the MLS Cup playoff.

"I’m now fresh into this team, new into the league. I need a few weeks to figure out what is right or wrong, but to be honest, I feel very good after this game,” said Müller after the game. He received a warm welcome from Vancouver fans when he made his way into the stadium for the game.
