Shaun Wright-Phillips believes Manchester City have done really well in 2025 so far in the transfer market with the players they have signed. Though it is a little bit of a help when Man City have been in a position to spend close on £300m already this calendar year.

When asked which one further signing would make it a perfect summer 2025 transfer window for Man City, Shaun Wright-Phillips states; “I think the one outstanding player they could go for is Tino Livramento.”

Newcastle United fans have become accustomed to having their players linked with other clubs, it is the price you pay when you have a brilliant manager like Eddie Howe, who has made so many astute signings and then further improved them once they arrived at St James’ Park.

Tino Livarmento is only one of the many success stories, but the great news for Newcastle United fans is that all of the key NUFC players are on lengthy contracts, including the England full-back. Eddie Howe and England determined not to sell the likes of Tino Livramento and even if for whatever reason Tino ever did leave, it would be a huge transfer fee that would be needed.

Shaun Wright-Phillips asked by Prime Casino – ‘Is there one player you have in mind that would make it the perfect transfer window for Manchester City?’

“So far, it’s already a perfect transfer window for Manchester City, they’re getting 10 out of 10. They’ve strengthened in key areas.

“But it’s worth remembering that they made some astute signings in January. I thought they were quality players, and they’ve been able to steady the ship.

“They’ve added to that already with another four players on top of what has already arrived. More than that could be overkill.

“The job now is to get players on their way out the door, because Pep won’t want a squad that big.
