Chelsea striker Joao Pedro believes he was born destined to win things at Chelsea and says this is just the start.
Pedro has had a superb start to life at Chelsea after joining the club from Brighton this summer.
He arrived just in time to take the Club World Cup by storm and score a very important goal in the final last night to help his side thrash PSG 3-0 to lift the trophy.
Pedro’s beautiful chip was the icing on the cake last night and really did put the game beyond reach for PSG.
He followed two perfect goals from Cole Palmer that were actually very similar to each other as he just rolled the ball past the keeper.
This is exactly what Chelsea needed to add to their ranks this summer, more natural goal scorers, and Pedro is certainly one of them.

He is so calm in front of goal and has the ability to provide different kinds of finishes whether subtle or smashing the ball home. He’s already shown that in a Chelsea shirt.
Speaking after the game, Pedro said:
“I think I was born predestined. When you go on vacation, you end up relaxing a bit. I knew about Chelsea’s interest, I continued training and was happy in those three games. Three games and three goals.
“I’ve had importance in this tournament, but the entire group is celebrating and deserves to enjoy this moment. This is just the start, there’s a lot ahead for us.”
This was in response to his seamless adaptation to joining Chelsea and his incredible start to life as a Blue. He just looks like he has been here and doing this for Chelsea for years already!
