After Juventus’ 2-1 win over Como on Serie A’s Matchday 24, manager Thiago Motta reflected on the impact of new signing Randal Kolo Muani.
Juventus secured Kolo Muani on a loan deal until the end of the season during the winter transfer window, and so far, the Frenchman has hit the ground running for the Italian side.
Kolo Muani was also attracting interest from Tottenham but chose to move to the Serie A club instead. The move offers Kolo Muani a chance to revive his career after a disappointing 18 months at PSG.
The striker, who joined for €95 million from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer, has scored only 11 goals in 54 appearances. This season, he lost favor with Luis Enrique, making just two starts across all competitions.

Nonetheless, manager Thiago Motta was complimentary and cautious when talking about Kolo Muani’s performance after the PSG loanee scored five goals in three Serie A matches for Juventus.
“Kolo Muani is doing well and scoring goals,” Motta said (h/t Football Italia). “He can do better. He’s just arrived and needs to keep his feet on the ground. Goals are part of the game. I like seeing him like this, with a smile. He’s integrated very well and is helping like everyone else.”
