Theo Hernandez’s key role in Milan’s Supercoppa Italiana revival gave a further boost to his contract extension talks with the club, as he is now reportedly one step away from penning a new deal.
The France international rediscovered form in Saudi Arabia, scoring a goal and setting up another one in his side’s epic comeback against city rivals Inter in the final, offering a sneak peek of how things could be under new manager Sergio Conceição, who’s willing to put him at the centre of his project.

With a smile back on his face, the 27-year-old is even more eager to commit his future to the Rossoneri and negotiations between the club and his agents have been proceeding in ‘total harmony’ in recent days according to Calciomercato.com.
Milan are ready to make a significant economic effort and make Theo Hernandez one of the highest-paid players in their squad by increasing his salary to €6-6.5m with a new deal until 2029.
