The photo that Newcastle United fans had all really really wanted to see today.

An early scare after only two minutes but Toney’s ‘goal’ disallowed after VAR flagged up offside.

Nick Pope then making a good save with his foot to deny Toney.

However, once Bruno opened up Brentford brilliantly for Barnes to head home, the result never in doubt. Murphy and Isak adding more goals before the break.

Although the home side did threaten briefly to make a fight of it when pulling it back from 0-3 to 2-3, however, Bruno swiftly finished them off and restored the deserved two goal final winning margin.

This could have easily been six or seven goals on the day for Newcastle United but another four to the total was a nice return on the final day.

Another victory meaning yet another winning snapshot post-match.

Another photo =  The twenty fourth and final one of this season.

The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.

Great to see.

It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.

‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’

I absolutely love it.

Last game / photo of the season, here’s to many more in 2024/25.
