According to journalist Rodra, Vinicius Jr.’s celebration after scoring against Mallorca had a special meaning.

As such, the Real Madrid forward dedicated the goal to his friend and professional padel player, Juan Lebron.

It must be remembered that Real Madrid claimed a hard-fought but vital 2-1 win over Mallorca at the Santiago Bernabeu, a match filled with drama and standout moments.

Arda Guler and Vinicius were the stars of the night, spearheading the comeback after Los Blancos had fallen behind early.

To add to the tension, referee Sanchez Martínez disallowed three Madrid goals, keeping the game in the balance until the very end.

Mallorca stunned the home side by taking the lead in the 18th minute. Vedat Muriqi struck from a Pablo Torre corner, leaving the Bernabeu briefly silenced.

Madrid needed a response, and it came in style before half-time. In the 37th minute, Guler equalised with a well-timed header from a Dean Huijsen cross. Barely a minute later, Vinicius produced his moment of brilliance.

The Brazilian picked up the ball, drove forward confidently, and instead of passing, chose to go alone.

His decision paid off as he unleashed a powerful long-range shot past Leo Roman to put Madrid ahead 2-1.

The forward celebrated first with his teammates, but moments later, he revealed a personal tribute – the gesture dedicated to Juan Lebron.

Vinicius, who had returned to the starting lineup after being benched in the previous game against Oviedo, showed great energy and commitment throughout the first half.

His attitude, which was sometimes criticised last season, looked much improved. However, his influence dipped after the break, prompting Xabi Alonso to substitute him for Rodrygo in the second half.
