The penultimate gameweek of the Fantasy Premier League season is a bumper one, with three additional fixtures meaning that six sides play twice.
It presents a significant opportunity to boost your score, so who are the top ten FPL picks by predicted points going into Double Gameweek 37?
You can get your FPL team rated by AI for free on Fantasy Football Hub’s My Team tool, and then explore AI-suggested transfers.
Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho is their second-highest-scoring fantasy asset this season behind captain Bruno Fernandes, who is an injury doubt ahead of this double gameweek. Garnacho has two goals and two assists since the international break, averaging 3.8 points per match for the campaign. He sits sixth for shots in the box in this spell with 20, with five big chances on goal.
Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon has been one of the standout fantasy performers in the last four gameweeks, racking up one goal and five assists in this period. His home form remains most prevalent, with 22 of his 26 goal involvements coming at St. James Park, including a goal in the reverse fixture against Manchester United. Only Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins can improve on his 16 assists this season.
Fantasy Football Hub is purpose-built to turn FPL managers into FPL winners. With industry-leading AI and experts revealing their teams every gameweek, it’s no surprise tens of thousands of managers gain the edge with the Hub every season.
Tottenham winger Brennan Johnson has remained a consistent starter since the international break, with one goal and three assists in seven appearances. His side have only won two games in this spell, but both of those performances have come on home turf, with Spurs one of just two sides to have home comforts across their two fixtures. He notched an assist in the reverse fixture against Manchester City.
Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has rejuvenated his season in the last four gameweeks, with four goals and three assists in this spell contributing to more than a third of his goal involvements across the season as a whole. That puts him as the highest scoring forward in the game in this period, and just two points behind leader and team-mate Cole Palmer. Only Erling Haaland can match his attacking output.
Sticking with Chelsea and Cole Palmer is a compelling case for the double gameweek. He’s the highest-scoring player in the game this season and significantly ahead of his rivals in points per match terms, with a leading ten double-digit hauls, although it’s his form at Stamford Bridge which has been the stage for those hauls this calendar year. Two away games hinders his predicted points here.
One player well suited to two away fixtures in the double gameweek is Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne, who hasn’t blanked in a start on the road this season. In eight away appearances he has amassed ten goal involvements, the best of any player by some margin. Since the international break he’s produced a leading eight big chances created, converting for three assists.
While the away form suggests Kevin De Bruyne is the better Manchester City midfielder for this week, Phil Foden still edges him in the predicted points stakes, with six goal involvements from just four starts since the international break. His sensational form and the breathing space in Manchester City’s recent schedule makes him a formidable threat, with increased minutes likely over this double.
Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has the best form of all forwards, with eight goals and two assists in seven games since the international break. The introduction of Callum Wilson and a switch to a front two hasn’t hindered his output. He remains in the race for the Golden Boot and so will likely remain on spot-kicks despite failing to convert against Burnley last time out.
We’ve seen some faltering performances from Spurs in recent weeks, but captain Son Heung-min remains an out-of-position prospect, with two goals in his last four games rewarding the patience of his owners. He racked up 30 points across the reverse of his two fixtures this week, with a hat-trick in the 5-2 win against Burnley, plus a goal and an assist in the 3-3 draw to Manchester City earlier this season.
Any doubts over Erling Haaland’s current form were quashed with his four goal haul against Wolves last time around, as he benefited from fresh legs following a free midweek. City have had another clear spell in their schedule this week ahead of this double. Haaland scored a hat-trick in the reverse fixture against Fulham, plus he notched two assists against Spurs. He’s the go-to selection for captaincy
