AS Monaco wishes to thank the Libyan international midfielder, who arrived in January, and whose loan expires at the end of the 2024-2025 season.

He was decisive in the quest for a second consecutive qualification in the Champions League. Scorer of a crucial goal in the win in Saint-Étienne on Matchday 32 in Ligue 1 (a 3-1 win), Moatasem Al-Musrati showed the way to his teammates, thus contributing to another podium finish, one which sealed a return to the Champions League next season. Having come to Monaco in the winter mercato, the midfielder, who notably played for Braga and Besiktas, gave himself the mission of encourgaing the team’s youngsters and bringing his experience.

An example of professionalism

It is therefore with a sense of accomplishment that he will leave the Club at the end of the 2024-2025 season, as confirmed by General Manager Thiago Scuro during an end-of-season press conference: “Moatasem helped us a lot, and he probably scored one of the most important goals of the season. (…) I would like to publicly thank him for the person he is, for his professionalism and maturity, because he has given us a lot.”
