This achievement breaks another record, as Tessa Wullaert is the first and only footballer to receive the Belgian Golden Shoe award, five times in their career. The Inter forward and Belgium Captain was conferred this prestigious award due to her performances and charisma, adding yet another award to an already impressive set of awards. Born in Tielt on 19 March 1993, Tessa is considered one of the best and most prolific footballers in Europe. During her career she has won seven league titles across Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, as well as trophies with her National Side. Furthermore, she has won the FA Women's Cup and the FA Women's League Cup, whilst being the league top-scorer on two occasions. Following her arrival to Inter in the Summer of 2024, she has displayed her talent and dedication to the Inter colours, becoming a reference point for Gianpiero Piovani's side as she has made 15 league appearances, scoring five goals and recording four assists, with three more appearances in Coppa Italia. The Inter player was given the award of the 71st Belgian Golden Shoe and was selected by a panel of 120 people, comprising of National Team and Federation representatives, journalists, ex-players, coaches and technical-directors of various Belgian teams who gave second place to another Inter player, Marie Detruyer. With this award, she also overtakes Paul Van Himst, the player with the most awards in the men's category, signalling an absolute record when it comes to the history of this award
