The Telegraph are reporting that Chelsea’s end of season success is unlikely to fix owners underlying differences.
We have all heard about this across last season, where co-owners Behdad Eghbali and Todd Boehly do not appear to be on the same page anymore and something has happened. It’s always remained unclear exactly what the issues are, but it seems that they don’t see eye to eye or agree with how elements of the club are being ran.
How can they continue together then? Maybe the success of winning the Conference League, qualifying for Champions League football, and winning the Club World Cup can fix it? Nope, apparently not.
Despite the big reactions after Chelsea thrashing PSG 3-0 to become World Champions, it doesn’t seem like this will fix the differences at the top of the club.
Pundit Alan Shearer is already tipping Chelsea to challenge for the Premier League title next season, something that I’m sure will be played down again for now though.
There has also been some other big reactions after the game, with one Sky Sports reporter claiming it has made Chelsea great again in what was a nod towards USA President Donald Trump being involved in Chelsea’s trophy lift, which was just bizarre.

It does not look good that the two main owners of Chelsea Football club still have differences, and fans will be concerned as to how this ends and how they move forward here.
But The Telegraph reports that winning the Club World Cup and qualifying for the Champions League is unlikely to have changed their underlying differences, and there remains a sense something has to give.
This is not a good situation at all, because nobody can see either side selling their stake in the club. So how do they go forward together?
