Unai Emery has named his Aston Villa side for this evening’s UEFA Champions League clash at Villa Park. The Premier League side sit in 9th place and need to win to ensure they bypass the play-offs and reach the Last 16.
It is no surprise that the decorated Spanish manager has named a strong team, with Celtic fan and Scotland midfielder John McGinn returning from a knee injury to make the bench.
Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Bogarde, Digne, Kamara, Tielemans, Bailey, Rogers, Ramsey, Watkins.
Subs: Olsen, Zych, Bogarde, Nedeljkovic, Maatsen, Patterson, Swinkels, McGinn, Duran, Young.
It is a strong team that contains World Cup winners and Internationalists; however, Celtic will be hoping to spring an upset as they look to close out a fantastic league phase with another result on the road.
The Scottish Champions have a number of absences from the last game – notably Kyogo, Daizen Maeda and Cameron Carter-Vickers.
Schmeichel, Johnston, Scales, Trusty, Taylor, McGregor, Engels, Hatate, Kühn, Idah, Yang.
Subs: Sinisalo, Bain, Palma, McCowan, Nawrocki, Bernardo, Montgomery, Murray, Cummings, Ralston.
The game kicks off at 8pm with coverage on TNT Sports 1.
