According to Football Insider, the three Championship clubs have all turned their attention to the 19-year-old as we enter the final two weeks of the window.

The central midfielder is currently competing in his native Norway with Sandnes Ulf, but impressed with his national U19 side at the European Championship in Northern Ireland last month.

His performances have caught the attention of several clubs, and there will now be stiff competition in the race to his signature.

Any deal will need to be completed before 30 August, as that is the deadline for the summer transfer market.

Stoke, Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday are among the clubs eyeing a move for Braut this summer.

However, they face competition from clubs in Serie A and the Bundesliga, meaning it is far from guaranteed he will make the move to English football in the coming weeks.

The 19-year-old will have a serious decision to make over his future, but it remains unclear what kind of asking price Sandnes Ulf will be seeking to agree to a transfer.

The teenager has become a key part of their squad this campaign, but they currently sit bottom of the 1. Divisjon table after 18 games.

Braut has featured 17 times so far this season in all competitions, contributing four goals and two assists for the struggling side.

The midfielder also scored three times in Northern Ireland in the underage international tournament, earning him a lot of attention.

It is unclear what his preference will be for the next step in his career, but clubs only have two weeks left to convince him to make a move before the window shuts.

Stoke, Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday are all keen to win the race to his signature.

Stoke, Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday’s start to the Championship

All three Championship sides made a positive start to the new campaign last weekend.

Sheffield Wednesday earned the standout result of the opening round of fixtures, hammering Plymouth Argyle 4-0.

Sheffield United won 2-0 away to Preston North End in their return to the second division, while Stoke City beat Coventry City 1-0 at home courtesy of a 78th minute strike from new signing Lewis Baker.

Next up, the Potters will face Watford on Saturday, with Sheffield Wednesday travelling to Sunderland and Sheffield United hosting QPR.

Braut summer

An impressive U19 European Championship has put Braut on the radar of a lot of clubs.

But the stiff competition for his signature makes it difficult to know what the next step will be in his career.

It is a difficult position to be in at 19, as the wrong choice of club could seriously hurt his development and career.

The excitement surrounding Danny Rohl at Sheffield Wednesday could make them very appealing, with the 4-0 hammering of Plymouth also going a long way to solidify this.

While all three Championship clubs could be a good spot, a move to Hillsborough might be the most interesting of them all for a young player looking to take a step up in his career.
