Liverpool travel to the London Stadium in Saturday’s early kick-off to face West Ham United, where anything other than a win would be the final nail in the coffin in terms of Liverpool’s Premier League title pursuit. Many Liverpool supporters are ready to concede the title either way though, following the Reds’ disastrous 2-0 defeat to Everton on Wednesday.
With that being said, there is still four more Premier League games to go before Jurgen Klopp waves goodbye to his Anfield faithful. Whether the season results in a title at the end of it or not, hopefully the players will be looking to give the German the send off that he deserves.
Let’s take a look at the predicted lineup for Saturday’s clash…

Alisson Becker will remain in between the sticks for Saturday as usual. Ahead of him, Virgil Van Dijk will captain the side, but Jarrell Quansah will come in to replace Ibou Konate after the Frenchman’s woeful performance on Wednesday.
Joe Gomez will come into the lineup for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is still seemingly building up his own return to fitness. Andy Robertson will go again on the left-side of the defence.
Verdict: Alisson, Gomez, Quansah, Van Dijk (C), Robertson
Liverpool’s midfield were abysmal once again on Wednesday, so changes are expected in the middle of the park. Wataru Endo will definitely return to the starting lineup, with his ability to break up the play being strongly missed during the week.
Alexis Mac Allister will keep his place in the midfield to join Endo, whilst both Curtis Jones and Dominik Szoboszlai will drop out of the side. That means that the final midfield spot is between Harvey Elliott and Ryan Gravenberch, but I think Klopp will lean towards Elliott for this one.
Verdict: Endo, Mac Allister, Elliott
Luis Diaz was the only bright spark in Liverpool’s performance against Everton on Wednesday and will definitely keep his side in the team. Both Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez continued their woeful run of form, though.
Should Cody Gakpo be back for this one, then he will come in for Nunez, but until we get confirmation of the Dutchman’s availability then Klopp’s attack will have to stay the same. Jayden Danns will remain on the bench and will be hoping for an opportunity from the side.
Verdict: Salah, Nunez, Diaz
Starting XI: Alisson, Gomez, Quansah, Van Dijk (C), Robertson, Endo, Mac Allister, Elliott, Salah, Nunez, Diaz
Bench: Kelleher, Konate, Tsimikas, Alexander-Arnold, Jones, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch, Clark, Danns
