Sportitalia report Inter will sell Aleksandar Stankovic to Club Brugge for €10m plus a percentage of the sell-on fee, but maintain a buy-back clause for €25m rather than €28m.

The basic fee had been agreed already last week, but the whole transfer ground to a halt over the issue of the buy-back clause.

Inter wanted it for two years and set at a relatively low figure of up to €25m, whereas Club Brugge were hoping for one year and closer to €30m.

Stankovic negotiations never stopped

The talks continued throughout and multiple sources suggest they have managed to push their way towards an agreement.

Sportitalia insist the final fee will be €10m plus a percentage of the sale fee, with a clause at €25m that will be valid until 2027.

Belgian transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri also reports that the two clubs are ready to shake hands, but it remains to be seen if the €28m clause is indeed lowered to €25m.

Milan are keeping a close eye on the situation too, because the arrival of Stankovic would increase the likelihood of Club Brugge selling Ardon Jashari.
