This midweek, there were a few games for Tottenham Hotspur loanees, across various competitions. Let's take a look at how they all got on.
In the Bristol St Motors trophy, there was action for Josh Keeley, Jamie Donley, and their Leyton Orient side, as they hosted Stevenage in the knockout stages of the competition. For this game, Keeley started, whilst Donley was included amongst those on the substitutes bench.
After 25 minutes, Keeley let in a rare goal, thanks to an own goal from Orient central defender Brandon Cooper. At half-time, in an attempt to rescue the game, Wellens introduced Donley.
Midway through the second half, the 20-year old missed an opta defined big chance, having his effort saved from an angle. Despite dominating the ball, the O's could not find an equaliser, and they were knocked out of the competition by their fellow League One side.
Next up for Orient is a home game against Reading in the league this Saturday, with a 15:00 GMT kick off for that one.
In the Championship, there would be no action for Dane Scarlett - with it being confirmed early this week that he has been recalled by the club from his loan at Oxford United, due to a lack of game time. The expectation is that he will be sent out on loan to another club at some point this winter transfer window.
There was, however, a game for Ashley Phillips and his Stoke City side, as they made the trip South to face Portsmouth. It would be the nightmare start for the Potters, finding themselves two goals down within the first ten minutes of the game,
After 27 minutes, Phillips' central defensive partner, Ben Wilmot, got one back for Stoke, with the sides going into the half time break at 2-1 to the hosts. However, just four minutes into the second half, Pompey would restore their two goal advantage.
That would be the final goal of the game, and Stoke were condemned to a tough 3-1 defeat, for their first loss under new manager Mark Robins. This leaves them in 19th place in the Championship, with 28 points from 28 games. Their hosts leapfrogged them with this win, going one point ahead with a game in hand.
Next up is a home game against Oxford, on Saturday at 12:30 GMT.
Finally, Bryan Gil started for Girona in their dead rubber Champions League game away to AC Milan. The 24-year old played 72 minutes, and created a big chance. Girona lost 1-0.
