WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Lilywhites this afternoon.
The 23-year-old Danish international midfielder joins Spurs after spending the last two-and-a-half-seasons playing her football in the OBOS Damallsvenskan with FC Rosengård.
The player has built an impressive goalscoring record for the Swedish club. Holdt netted 25 times in 47 league outings while she won the 2022 and 2024 OBOS Damallsvenskan titles with FC Rosengård. The player has also represented the club in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Prior to her spell in Sweden, Holdt played in her native Denmark. She turned out for VSK Aarhus and Fortuna Hjørring.
On the international stage, Holdt negotiated her way through the Danish national team youth age groups up to the senior squad. The midfielder has been capped by her country on seven occasions at senior level while she has scored one goal.
Holdt becomes Tottenham Hotspur’s first signing of the summer transfer window. The player could make her debut for Spurs in next weekend’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup fourth round tie at Everton should the necessary international clearance and work permit be obtained.
