Southampton have completed the permanent signing of Taylor Harwood-Bellis on a four-year deal.
In achieving promotion to the Premier League last season, the Saints triggered a clause in the agreement for the Manchester City youth product which meant that the England U21 star could make his loan move permanent.
Harwood-Bellis made 46 total appearances for Southampton last year, scoring two goals.
“It’s no secret how much I enjoyed being here last season," the youngster told the club's official website. "I’m delighted to officially become a Southampton player ahead of the new season."
The Southampton move last season was the latest in a series of loans from Man City for the 22-year-old, as he spent time at Blackburn Rovers, Stoke, Anderlecht and Burnley.
Now, he can make a permanent home on England's south coast and makes the step up to the Premier League.
