Despite facing a setback earlier in the window, AC Milan could make another attempt to sign Joao Felix in January, and evaluations are taking place.
Felix is a name that has appeared briefly in a Milan sense already in this mercato, and, in the past 24 hours, the idea has regained some life. Chelsea are reportedly more open to a loan deal than they were previously, so this re-opens the door for the Rossoneri.
As Luca Maninetti, our SempreMilan.it colleague, reports, the Diavolo are currently making considerations about the feasibility of the Felix deal in its ‘entirety’, and currently, it seems to be a ‘solid deal’ for the club.
A double-track is more than possible, considering the Rossoneri have already internally discussed the idea of Santiago Gimenez arriving with another. Considering Santiago Gimenez’s move has now been finished, this also is strengthened by the timing of this report.
It is probable that the deal in the summer is also being evaluated, given it is only a six-month loan idea currently. Chelsea have already been reportedly in favour of a permanent move, so a buy agreement could, imaginably, be spoken of.
Jorge Mendes has reportedly travelled to Italy today to discuss a deal, so it is one that could change in the next few hours, definitely.
