Easter weekend is normally a time for blessings, and AC Milan have been granted two blessings of their own this afternoon in the form of some returns.
Ahead of this week’s clash against Inter, Milan need a full-strength team available, and it seems that Sergio Conceicao’s squad will be massively boosted with at least one return of significance, as reported by Sky this morning, via Milan News.
According to the report, Sergio Conceicao will be able to rely on Kyle Walker against Inter, who has now recovered from his elbow injury, for which he had surgery at the beginning of the month, and trained with the group this morning. It is possible that he replaces Alex Jimenez, or potentially Fikayo Tomori, who struggled on Sunday night.
Elsewhere, another Englishman is set to return to the field, as Ruben Loftus-Cheek also returned to group training this morning. Similarly to Walker, the midfielder has now recovered from his surgery and could be available for selection in midweek.
It will certainly be intriguing to see how Conceicao looks to bring Loftus-Cheek into this team after the formation change to a 3-4-3, which he will seemingly stick with for the Inter clash, given the midfielder is a bit of a unicorn player positionally.
