The Danish striker has been one that the Celts have been monitoring for around two years now and Brendan Rodgers tried to land the attacker during the summer transfer window and last January too but could not agree a fee with his club.

Now The Scottish Sun are reporting that the Hoops are back in talks with the Danes again about procuring the powerful frontman. The 22-year-old is highly sought after and Germans Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly just one of the club’s eyeing a move for Kvistgaarden as they look to replace outgoing Egyptian forward, Omar Marmoush.

Kvistgaarden, who has managed to bag 12 goals in 18 appearances this term for his club has reportedly told Brondby chiefs that he is wanting to move either this month or in the summertime, giving Celtic a big advantage when it comes to negotiating a deal. Interest has intensified over night as multiple reports claim that Kyogo Furuhashi is set for the Parkhead exit to Ligue 1 in France. Stade Rennais appear to be his next destination with a £10 million deal touted and Jota also involved.

The particulars of that transfer are yet to be revealed fully but the persistent stories around it suggest there is a lot of smoke but some fire too. It would be a sensational transfer window if all these deals came to fruition; with two homecoming parties for Jota and Kieran Tierney, whilst adding a new striker and watching our current main attacking threat depart in the shape of Kyogo.
