Sidelined Barcelona star could return for Inter Milan first leg | OneFootball

The coaching staff at La Liga giants Barcelona are hopeful of having Alejandro Balde back fit and available for selection for the club’s upcoming Champions League meeting with Inter Milan.

That’s according to Barca insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS, who has on Wednesday provided an insight into the situation.

Defender Balde has for his part been sidelined for the last couple of weeks.

This comes owing to a hamstring injury suffered en route to Barcelona’s 1-0 La Liga downing of Leganés.

The 21-year-old has missed the Blaugrana’s last three outings across all competitions as a result, set to make it four in the Copa del Rey final this weekend.

As alluded to above, though, should Balde’s recovery continue to progress along its current trajectory, he could yet be available to feature against Inter Milan next week.

As per a report from Diario AS:

‘Flick is confident of having Balde back for the first leg against Inter on April 30th at Montjuïc. Barcelona are putting all five senses into getting the player back for this date.’
