Claudio Ranieri could hand full debuts to three new Roma signings when the Giallorossi take on Venezia away in Serie A in Sunday’s early kick-off slot.
Today’s game is due to get underway at 11.30 GMT.
Pre-match reports suggest that there could be a full debut for Victor Nelsson, who arrived on loan from Galatasaray in the final day of the January transfer window, and made his Roma debut off the bench in the 3-1 Coppa Italia loss to Milan on Wednesday.
Lucas Gourna-Douath, who signed on loan with an option to buy from RB Salzburg, could also be up for his first Giallorossi appearance. He has not been included in Roma’s Updated Europa League squad list, so will only be eligible to feature in Serie A matches for the rest of the 2024-25 campaign.

Sky Sport Italia predict that Anass Salah-Eddine could also start at left wing-back, with fellow January recruit Devyne Rensch on the opposite flank.
Claudio Ranieri has confirmed that Mats Hummels and Leandro Paredes have been given a rest for Sunday’s game against Venezia, and Paulo Dybala could also start from the bench. Artem Dovbyk is still expected to start up front.
Manu Kone is suspended.
Venezia (3-5-2): Radu; Haps, Idzes, Candé; Zerbin, Doumbia, Nicolussi Caviglia, Busio, Zampano; Oristanio, Gytkjaer.
Roma (3-4-2-1): Svilar; Mancini, Nelsson, Ndicka; Rensch, Gourna-Douath, Cristante, Salah-Eddine; Soulé, Pellegrini; Dovbyk
