The 2024/25 season for Inter has officially come to an end. The FIFA Club World Cup was the final competition of a busy campaign, during which the Nerazzurri played 63 matches across the league, Champions League, Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana and the FIFA Club World Cup.

It's now time for a break for Cristian Chivu’s men, but thoughts are already turning to the 2025/26 season, which will officially kick off at the end of August. Inter's first Serie A fixture is scheduled for Monday 25 August, when they will face Torino in a 20:45 CEST kick-off at San Siro. Six days later, the Nerazzurri will once again take to the Meazza pitch, this time to face Udinese; the game will take place at 20:45 CEST on Saturday 31 August. After the opening two matchdays, the league will come to a halt for the international break. On their return to action, Inter will face Juventus at the Allianz Stadium. Lega Serie A have already confirmed the date and time for this match: it will be played at 18:00 CEST on Saturday 13 September.

After the fixture in Turin, the Champions League awaits: matchday 1 of the League Phase in Europe's premier competition will take place between 16 and 18 September 2025. The Champions League will follow the new format introduced last season: each of the 36 qualified teams will play eight matches (four at home and four away), with a single league table determining who advances to the knockout phase play-offs or directly to the round of 16. The League Phase draw is scheduled for Thursday 28 August 2025.

Lega Serie A also recently confirmed the bracket for the 2025/26 Coppa Italia. Inter will enter the tournament as the third highest-ranked team. This means the Nerazzurri’s campaign will begin at the round of 16, where they will face one of Hellas Verona, Venezia, Mantova, Avellino or Audace Cerignola in a straight knockout tie at San Siro.

There are two possible dates for the Coppa Italia round of 16: Inter could take to the pitch on Wednesday 3 December or Wednesday 17 December.

The Nerazzurri will also compete in the 2025/26 Supercoppa Italiana, which will retain the four-team format seen in the last two editions. Inter, who will be involved thanks to their second-place league finish last season, will face Bologna, the 2024/25 Coppa Italia winners, in the semi-finals. The other semi-final tie will see Napoli take on AC Milan. Lega Serie A have yet to confirm the dates for the competition.
