Serie A Teams Present their UEFA Lists Post January | OneFootball

The Serie A sides submitted their UEFA lists after the end of the January window, which inevitably had some notable omissions. Besides the normal restrictions related to home-grown players, teams could make substitutions up until a certain quota, three in most cases, forcing them to pick and choose among their newcomers, Mediaset informs.

Milan inserted Kyle Walker, Joao Felix, and Santiago Gimenez instead of Alvaro Morata, Ismael Bennacer, Noah Okafor, and Davide Calabria. Andrea Sottil and Warren Bondo won’t be available in the Champions League. The same goes for Alex Jimenez like in the first half of the season.

Juventus included Randal Kolo Muani, Renato Veiga, and Lloyd Kelly for Arthur, Danilo, and Nicolò Fagioli, and not Alberto Costa, who’s a deep option in his position. Inter and Atalanta weren’t so busy and had an easier time compiling their UEFA lists: Nicola Zalewski is replacing Tajon Buchanan for the Scudetto winners; Daniel Maldini and Stefan Posch are filling in for Ben Godfrey and Nicolò Zaniolo for La Dea. Gianluca Scamacca and Giorgio Scalvini are out of the season.

Roma had numerous signings and went with Pierluigi Gollini, Davy Rensch, and Victor Nelsson after the exits of Mathew Ryan, Mario Hermoso, Enzo Le Fée, and Zalewski. Their final two additions, Lucas Gourna-Douath and Anass Salah-Eddine won’t be eligible to play in the Europa League.

Lazio didn’t have any departures and therefore couldn’t insert any of their newcomers: Arjon Ibrahimovic, Reda Belhayane, and Oliver Provstgaard. As it happened in Serie A, they omitted Luca Pellegrini for Elseid Hysaj even though the latter just suffered a serious thigh injury. Fiorentina left out Pablo Mari and Cher Ndour.
