Serie A clubs put less faith in foreign managers, here’s why 👇🏽

Sport's decision to hire Daniel Paulista after the failure with Portuguese coaches Pepa and António Oliveira reinforces the decline in the number of foreign coaches among Série A clubs.

Palmeiras, Fortaleza, São Paulo, Botafogo, and Cruzeiro are the clubs that currently bet on foreigners.

Before Leão, three other top-tier teams opted for Brazilian coaches after the departure of foreigners.

They were: Grêmio (Mano Menezes replacing Gustavo Quinteros), Corinthians (Dorival Júnior after the departure of Ramón Díaz), and Santos (Cléber Xavier replacing Pedro Caixinha).

The record came in the 2023 edition, after Inter officialized Eduardo Coudet on July 20.
