After a dominant performance from start to finish on Wednesday, Al Ahli secured their place in the Saudi Super Cup final against Al Qadsiah. Despite falling behind early, Al-Ahli Saudi quickly took control and cruised to an emphatic 1-5 victory.

In just the 8th minute, Gaston Alvarez opened the scoring for his side. Al Ahli responded immediately, leveling the match thanks to Franck Kessié. In the 28th minute, Ivan Toney put his team ahead from the penalty spot. Relentless, the recent AFC Elite Champions League winners struck twice more before halftime. With two assists from Riyad Mahrez, Enzo Millot (31’) and Franck Kessié (45’+2) made it 4-1 at the break.

After the break, Al-Qadsiah conceded again. In the 61st minute, Nacho scored an own goal to make it 5-1. Next Saturday, Kessié, Mahrez, and their teammates will face Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr. Sadio Mané received a red card and will not play.
