Growing frustrations surrounding Santos have begun to boil over as club supporters attempted a training invasion.
Per reports from Brazilian outlet Globo, members of the supporters group Sangue Jovem tried to interrupt Saturday's training session at the club's CT Rei Pelé complex on the back of Santástico's poor start to the Campeonato Paulista.
New boss Pedro Caixinha has struggled to push the club forward since his December arrival, as Santos have failed to win in their previous three fixtures despite Neymar's highly publicised return as they sit third in Group B behind Guarani and Portuguesa.
Fans, who also reportedly targeted club CEO Pedro Martins, were seen to have thrown fireworks onto the training pitch before two were allowed access inside the perimeter, with the promise of a possible meeting between fans, the players, and the board at the training ground on Monday.
Santos have an opportunity to help calm the situation when they clash with Agua Santa on Sunday evening.
