Ruben Amorim has become the third Manchester United manager to win their first two games of a major European competition, following Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Matt Busby.
The new head coach saw his side return to winning ways in midweek with a 2-1 triumph over Viktoria Plzen, keeping United in a comfortable position when it comes to qualification for the knockout stages of the Europa League.
Having already squeezed past Bodo/Glimt in his first European outing, Amorim now has back-to-back wins in the competition under his belt, becoming just the third United boss to remain perfect after two games in Europe.
Amorim will fancy his chances of extending that run before the Europa League league phase comes to a close, with Scottish giants Rangers on the calendar alongside Romanian side FCSB.
United will be favourites for both games and two victories would comfortably book their place in the round of 16, where the level of competition could rise dramatically as the likes of Porto, Roma and Real Sociedad could all enter the fray.
Meanwhile, United's current focus remains on Sunday's derby against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City. A win would move Amorim's side five points behind their rivals.
