MLS is back with a full slate of games this Saturday as the conference tables are starting to take shape. Here is everything that went down.

Seattle collapse at the death in Cascadia Cup clash

Seattle appeared all but set to pick up back to wins against Cascadia Cup rivals, but a late sending off for Nouhou leading to Vancouver’s equalizer from the spot saw them collapse and drop two more points.

Seattle will end the weekend outside of the playoff spots.

Orlando stun San Jose in the dying moments

Scorers: Lynn 89′

San Jose suffered a second crushing defeat in just three days, dropping all three points to Orlando City thanks to a Jack Lynn goal in the last minute of the game.

San Jose currently sit bottom of the West with just three wins in their opening 14 MLS games.

RSL explode late to cruise past rivals Colorado

Scorers: Arango 23′, 85′ Gómez 40′, 88′, Julio 90+6′ ; Bassett 5′, Navarro 19′ 56′

The Rocky Mountain Cup rarely disappoints, and that adage remained true as RSL scored three goals past the 85th minute to come flying back against rivals Colorado to earn all three points.

Messi returns as Miami stun D.C. United at the death

Scorers: Campana 90+3′

It was another case of the late, late show for Inter Miamias Leo Campana snatched a stoppage time winner to down a resurgent D.C. United in Fort Lauderdale.

Miami have now won six of their last seven and are unbeaten since a 4-0 thumping in New York all the way back in March.

Minnesota down Portland late

Scorers: Lod 65′, Sang-Bin 82′ ; Rodríguez 17′

Minnesota spent most of the game knocking on the Portland door and they finally knocked down in the dying minutes thanks to substitute Jeong Sang-bin.

Minnesota remain one of the hottest teams in the Western Conference, winning four of their last five under new head coach Eric Ramsay.

Menawhile, the Timbers became the first team in MLS history to concede multiple goals in 10 straight games.

Austin fly past Sporting KC in five-goal thriller

Scorers: Obrian 28′, 39′, Driussi 46′ ; Russel 18′, Davis 63′

Austin have been one of the more watchable teams this season, and nothing changed this weekend as they put three past Sporting KC to snatch the same amount of points in front of a raucous Q2 crowd.

Honors even between Dallas and Houston

Scorers: Bassi 45+6′ ; Musa 69′

A second-half Petar Musa goal snatched a point away to Houston for Texas rivals Dallas.

A point for each side does little to move the needle, though FC Dallas remain on the outside of the MLS Cup Playoff picture.

Columbus win second straight, easing past Chicago

Scorers: Terán 85′ ; Rossi 30′, Ramirez 55′, Russel-Rowe 88′

The reigning MLS Cup Champions have struggled to find their footing in MLS as they navigate the CONCACAF Champions Cup, but the Chicago Fire are the perfect tonic, just as Montréal were last week.

The victory sees Columbus win a second straight game in MLS for the first time this season.

Toronto thump Montréal in Canadian Classique

Scorers: Longstaff 6′, Bernadeschi 12′, 58′, 59′, Owusu 19′ ; Ibrahim 67′

It was a Canadian Classique to forget for Montréal as they capitulated at BMO Field thanks to a Bernadeschi hat-trick. Three goals in the opening 20 minutes drove a nail into the visitors coffin before the game truly got going.

Montréal sunk to a new low this campaign, sitting third from bottom with just three wins in their opening 13 games.

NYCFC collect narrow Hudson River Derby win

Scorers: Wolf 3′, Bakrar 64′ ; Harper 45+1′

NYCFC earned bragging rights in the first edition of the Hudson River Derby this season, and leapfrogged their neighbors from across the river in the process.

The Red Bulls started the season on a tear but have slowed down as of late, while NYCFC are just starting to find their feet.

Cincinnati fight back to down St. Louis City

Cincinnati remain arguably the hottest team in Major League Soccer, overcoming a calamitous own-goal to cruise past St. Louis City.

Pat Noonan’s side have won six straight games in MLS and will end the weekend just one point behind league leaders Miami with a game in hand.

10-men New England capitulate against Philadelphia

Scorers: Carranza 38′, Gazdag 47, 80′

The Revolution found themselves behind the eight-ball in a flash as Ryan Spaulding was sent off in the opening 15 minutes for a challenge from behind on a Union player headed towards goal.

Philly took advantage of the numerical superiority, putting three past the hosts to further enflame their poor start to the season.

Charlotte and LA Galaxy play out Mint City stalemate

The high-powered Galaxy threat struggled on the road in Charlotte, managing just five shots on target despite seeing nearly 70% of the ball on the night.

Southern Showdown ends level in Music City
