AC Milan have once again been credited with interest in signing Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal but they face competition from two Serie A rivals.

Milan have been linked with a move for Kiwior for a few transfer windows in a row now, having clearly been left impressed by what he showed during his time at Spezia, where he was before he moved to Arsenal.

According to Fabrizio Romano who spoke exclusively to CaughtOffside for his Daily Briefing column, the Poland international is attracting plenty of interest back in Italy and the Rossoneri remain among his admirers.

“Jakub Kiwior has been linked with a possible exit from Arsenal again, and he’s always being linked with Italian clubs after his impressive form when he was in Serie A with Spezia,” Romano said.

“However, it’s not something concrete or close so far. AC Milan, Juventus, Napoli all appreciate Kiwior, they know him well since he was at Spezia but that’s it at the moment. Arsenal have still received no formal proposal for Kiwior and he remains a player trusted by Mikel Arteta.”

Kiwior joined the Gunners in the January 2023 window and he has been far from a regular starter, though he has been used a fair bit and his versatility has been useful given he can play in either centre-back position or as a left-back.

A lot could depend on the will of the player given that William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are firmly ahead of Kiwior in the pecking order. However, injuries and suspensions among other factors mean he is always likely to get playing time.
