The chances of seeing Adrien Rabiot extending his contract with Juventus is now ‘difficult’ and other clubs are sniffing, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by Fabrizio Romano, Rabiot’s contract extension at Juventus is now ‘getting difficult’ and there is still no agreement over new deal between the two sides.

Juventus believe that they have already put forward their best possible offer, having tabled a bid worth over €7m net per season to the Frenchman, and they are awaiting his response.

The decision now rests in the hands of Rabiot who will only choose where he wants to play next season after the European Championship with France, but his camp are ‘also talking to other clubs’.

We have seen from the Joshua Zirkzee saga that Milan will not get into any bidding wars when it comes to salary or commissions owed to agents, and it seems like the money put forward by Juve is tough to match.

However, the Turin-based source Tuttosport did report a few days ago that the Milan management have tabled a three-year offer to Rabiot and matched Juve’s salary bid. There has also been talk of interest from Premier League clubs too.
