Serie A side Roma are yet to make a call on their head coach decision.
According to a report by Debora Carletti via Dimitri Conti of TMW, Roma are still pondering over their decision to appoint a new manager following the sacking of Ivan Juric. The Croatian coach was relieved from his duties as head coach after the Giallorossi’s 3-2 defeat to Bologna this past weekend.
The club’s sporting director Florent Ghisolfi has been tasked with the job of finding a new manager and recent reports suggest that he has contacted the likes of Rudi Garcia and former Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag. However, a final call is yet to be made. Vincenzo Montella has also become a target.
Roma fans have been vocal against the club owners The Friedkin Group for their alleged mismanagement of the side and the frequent sacking of coaches.
Ghisolfi aims to hire a manager who is suitable for a long-term project and will not be a stop-gap solution.
